MUZAFFARNAGAR: A class third student was allegedly garlanded with sandals by a teacher as a punishment for coming to school without shoes in Shamli district near here. The student’s father filed a police complaint alleging that the teacher garlanded his son with the sandals that he wore to the school on Saturday in Bhabisa village in the district. Kandhla Police Station station house officer (SHO) Anuradha Singhal said that police are investigating the matter.
