LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh’s Bahraich was gripped in communal tension on Sunday night after Hindus and Muslims clashed over an alleged incident of sexual harassment, police said on Monday. Reports said a few Muslim boys had been allegedly harassing some girls. On Sunday, the miscreants again eve-teased the girls. The girls’ families confronted the accused, who started pelting stones at them. The accused found support from other members of their community, who gathered at spot, forcing the girls and their families to take shelter inside a temple. Later, police dispersed the mob.
