GURDASPUR: A 70-year-old woman was strangled to death, allegedly by her daughter-in-law and her paramours, at Sekhwan village in Batala, police said on Monday. Joginder Kaur was living at the residence of her son Gurwinder Singh who has been working in Dubai for six months. A complaint lodged with police by another of the victim’s sons alleged that the accused woman had developed illicit relations with two youths and Joginder was opposed to this.
