AHMEDABAD: Patidar quota agitation leader Hardik Patel has demanded the release of Patel youths convicted in 2002 Gujarat riots’ cases, but alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would not facilitate their release as he now wants to project himself as a “secular” leader. Patel, in a letter to Modi, has listed 102 Patel community members, who have been given lifer in different cases related to the 2002 riots.
