Hold summit sans Pak: Cong to govt

NEW DELHI: The Congress on Wednesday urged the BJP-led NDA government to explore the possibility of having a Saarc summit without Pakistan, arguing the move will isolate Islamabad. “South Asia is the least integrated region in the world. There is a need for the further integration of the Saarc region. So, under these circumstances the government should ask itself – Is scrapping the Saarc summit an answer?” asked party spokesperson Manish Tewari.
