NEW DELHI: After his interactions with key BJP functionaries from states on Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to hold a meeting with chief ministers of the party-ruled states on Saturday and its members in the Rajya Sabha next Wednesday. Both sessions will be addressed by the PM and party president Amit Shah. The BJP rules 13 states on its own and in alliance and there are concerns about the state of the affairs in some of them.Modi and Shah will give a talk to RS MPs on the importance of remaining connected to the ground, said BJP sources. As they don’t represent any parliamentary constituencies, the party wants them to be more “accountable” towards people.
