HALDWANI: Mussoorie MLA Ganesh Joshi, who was involved in the incident that led to the death of police horse Shaktiman in April, again indulged in similar histrionics at the BJP state council meeting. Joshi was scolded for ‘pushing’ BJP state president Amit Shah, who was mobbed by crowds.

In March this year, Joshi came under severe criticism when he charged upon Shaktiman with a stick at a BJP demonstration in Dehradun. The frightened horse fell down and injured its leg, which had to be amputated later. Shaktiman died later.
On Sunday, Shah reached the venue of the meeting at a banquet hall here. As he made his way towards the stage, Shah was mobbed by activists who began jostling, including Joshi. Perturbed by the pushing, Shah scolded Joshi and asked him to make his way ahead of him if he was in such a tearing hurry.
An unnerved Joshi could not offer any explanation for the unruly behaviour.
Shah seemed visibly upset at Joshi’s conduct and the MLA was physically removed by the minister’s security personnel in order to avoid further confrontation.
