BAREILLY: A 15-year-old girl immolated herself on Tuesday night after alleged harassment by a youth in her neighbourhood. She was rushed to the district hospital, where she succumbed to burn injuries on Wednesday. “The accused has been identified as one Amit Rathore, 20, who lives in Baradari area. He is absconding since. We have registered a case against him and our teams are on a lookout,” said Sameer Saurabh, SP (city). Rathore allegedly used to harass the girl on her way to school.
