Three victims lose vision in Bihar hooch tragedy

PATNA: Three of the five victims of the Gopalganj hooch tragedy — which claimed 16 lives — have lost vision, said doctors at the Patna Medical College Hospital (PMCH) on Sunday. One more patient Sageer Alam (45) with near total loss of vision was admitted to the intensive care unit of the PMCH on Saturday. Dr Umesh Prasad Sinha, head of the eye department at PMCH, said, “At least three of the five patients cannot perceive light.”
