BARWANI: In a stringent move to put a complete ban on open defecation in the village, Pansemal sub-divisional magistrate Abhay Kharari sent a youth to jail after he was caught defecating in the open on Tuesday morning in Barwani district. Police booked Ram Singh Panwar under Section 151 (preventive measures) of CrPC and send him to Sendhwa subjail after producing him before SDM Kharari who sent him to judicial custody. SDM Kharari told HT that Panwar was provoking other villagers to defecate in the open just to spoil the Swachh Bharat Mission.
