GUWAHATI: A court of NIA has sentenced Raj Kumar Meghen, chairman of Manipur’s oldest insurgent group United National Liberation Front, to 10-year rigorous imprisonment for “waging war against India”. Seventeen other members of the outfit were also sentenced to seven-10 years of rigorous imprisonment. Meghen, 70, was brought to the central jail in Guwahati after his arrest in Bangladesh in 2010.
