NEW DELHI: In a nationwide crackdown on corruption, the CBI last month registered 14 cases against 14 senior government officials accused of amassing assets worth Rs 38 crore in all, which were disproportionate to their known sources of income. “The cases were registered against 14 central government officers, six of who belong to Group A category of government officers, during May 16 to May 31,” said a CBI spokesperson.
