BENGALURU: The Karnataka government late Thursday accepted the resignation of woman police officer Anupama Shenoy, an official statement said. “The state government has accepted the resignation of Anupama Shenoy as DSP at Kudligi in Ballari district with immediate effect,” the notification said. Shenoy, 30, an officer of the Karnataka Police cadre, resigned on June 4 to protest against alleged interference in her work by labour minister PT Parameshwar Naik.
