Two men, identified as Rahul Kumar and Vigyan, were arrested with the vehicle while two others managed to flee.

According to the police, four men looted a Maruti Ritz car from a cab driver posing as passengers on Thursday night.

After the victim told the police that a GPS tracker was installed in the vehicle, it was traced near Kannauj in Uttar Pradesh and the Kannauj police was alerted immediately.

"Although we got the location of the car, it was difficult to track it as they had changed its number plate. Two others are on the run," said SSP (Kannauj) Hari Narayan Singh.
