India wins eight gold in South Asian Archery

Bangladesh and Nepal picked up one silver and four bronze medals respectively. Sri Lanka and Bhutan have so far failed to win a single medal.

Indian archers won eight gold and six silver medals in the bamboo bow section on the opening day of the Second South Asian Archery Championship at the JRD Tata Sports Complex here on Friday.

Bangladesh and Nepal picked up one silver and four bronze medals respectively. Sri Lanka and Bhutan have so far failed to win a single medal.

This is the first time bamboo bow section was introduced in the championship.
