India's Anaka Alankamony and Veer Chotrani put up a fight but lost in their respective singles event finals at the Asian Squash Championship in Amman, Jordan.

Anaka went down to Hong Kong's Ho Ka Po in the girls final 9-11, 10-12, 10-12 while Chotrani lost to Malaysia's Muhammad Hafiz Abdul Harif 5-11, 12-14, 10-12 boys sub-junior final.
