Asian Games 2018: Tajinderpal Singh Toor breaks record, wins gold
Updated On Aug 25, 2018 09:14 pm IST
Tajinderpal Singh Toor lit up day 7 for India at the Asian Games 2018. The 23-year-old broke games record with a throw of 20.75 meters to win India’s only gold of the day. There was further good news as Rajiv Arokia and Muhammed Anas qualified for men’s 400m. In women’s division Hima Das and Nirmla made it to the finals. Although India managed to get three bronze in squash it was slightly disappointing that none of them could be converted into silver or even gold.
