A one of its kind bookstore, set on the Dal Lake in Kashmir has found its way in the 2018 Limca Book of Records for its unique location. Gulshan Books in Srinagar offers readers its library of 80,000 books, a tranquil reading room, a cafe and scenic views.

The store, established with an aim to promote reading after the 2014 floods in Kashmir, came about at this location in May 2016. Today the bookshop and library has a reading room, a cafe and its list of titles. (S Irfan / PTI)
