Photos: Cricket mania during IND vs NZ semi-final keeps fans indoors, glued to screens

New Zealand edged India by 18 runs to seal a place in the final in the ICC World Cup 2019 semifinal match between India and New Zealand yesterday. On day 1 and 2 of the semifinal match, HT photographers visited some of the nation’s busy marketplaces, train stations, streets, and the otherwise chock a block places of work and found deserted scenes, a veritable sign of cricket fever that kept people glued to screens and indoors, cheering in support of India XI over these past two days.
