The Amazon India Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2015 starts at Pragati Maidan, with a show by designer Rajesh Pratap Singh. His collection, titled The Best Medicine is Laughter, will see handwoven garments high on leather and wool, and the signature use of ikat. In this photo, a preview of designer Nikasha's creations. Her designs will take over the ramp on the first day.

Day 1 will also see designer Anju Modi present her collection, poignantly titled How to Write a Fairytale. Known for a royal eye for detail, Modi's concept note says, "Every fabric draped, every line sketched, every muse revered is an ode to this fairytale that takes us away from the mundane and breathes life back in our souls." Day 1 will end with JJ Valaya, and will also see a showcase by Kavita Bhartia, who celebrates 25 years of her label through her collection, with designs inspired from the tapestries at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. A creation by designer Kavita Bhartia (in this photo), who will also showcase on the opening day of fashion week.

On the second day, designer duo Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna will present a buyer and press preview, while Samant Chauhan will show a trademark Rajputana line, with ensembles in a wide palette of jewels and marble ivories. Designer Rina Dhaka will also present her fall/winter line. Designers Abraham and Thakore will also show their collection with contemporary layering and use of kantha embroidery. In this photo, a design by Nikhita Taandon. She will show on Day 4.

While Day 3 will see many more designers like Anupama Dayal, Sanchita, Namrata Joshipura and Pankaj and Nidhi, the penultimate day will see the likes of Gaurav Gupta and Aneeth Arora take over the runway. In this photo, a creation by Anupama Dayal, who will show on Day 3. On the last day, 25 designers will take over the runway for a final bow at the Grand Finale.
