Make smart food choices: Considering we have a lot of high calorie and delicious food around us during festive season, it is difficult to not give in to your cravings. Menon suggests that before heading out to a festive gathering, one is advised to spoil the appetite first. "Have a snack an hour or so beforehand and give yourself time to see what foods are available, and make choices based on what you’re craving and what you actually want. Fill half of your plate with vegetables every time," says the nutritionist.(Pixabay) expand-icon View Photos in a new improved layout

Don't wait till January: If you fall off your exercise schedule or healthy eating plan, don't wait for Monday or the new year. Get back on track right away.
