PHOTOS: Republic Day Parade rehearsals in Srinagar and Patna

Every year, January 26 is celebrated as Republic Day in India to commemorate the Indian Constitution. Although the main celebrations take place in Delhi in Rajpath, in other parts of India also there are parades and cultural activities. In Delhi, magnificent parades are held by the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, police and paramilitary forces at Rajpath. These parades display the defense capabilities, missiles, aircrafts and latest weapons that India has. Wonderful tableaus that show the distinct beauty and culture of each state of India are also showcased.
