Rahul Gandhi offers prayers at Golden Temple, washes devotees' water bowls, cleans grille as part of 'seva'

After spending a while at the shrine, he proceeded to a nearby hotel. Later, around 8 pm, he returned and engaged in 'seva' at the 'Chhabeel', where he served water to the devotees visiting the Golden Temple.  (PTI)

Later, he participated in the traditional 'palki seva' ritual, which marks the conclusion of the ceremonies. During this rite, the Guru Granth Sahib is respectfully escorted for 'Sukhasan' to the Akal Takth, as stated by Jaskarn Singh, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) IT wing in charge.  (ANI)

Outside the sanctum sanctorum, Gandhi was observed engaging in 'seva' by cleaning a steel grille. He devoted approximately 15 minutes to this act of service. (ANI)
