Mumbai’s famous Lalbaugcha Raja’s first look was unveiled on Friday evening, days ahead of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival. The 10-day-long Ganesh Chaturthi festival will start on September 19 this year. It starts with 'Chaturthi'  and ends with 'Anantha Chaturdashi'.  (ANI)

The story behind the Lalbaugcha Raja is well-known, being the celebrated Ganesh Idol of the Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal. This Mandal is situated at Putlabai Chawl, a place of worship established in 1934.  (PTI)
