PHOTOS: Millions at risk of food insecurity in South Sudan

South Sudan no longer has areas in famine, but almost 2 million people are on the brink of starvation and an estimated 6 million people which is half the population will face extreme food insecurity, according to reports by the government and the UN released Wednesday.

According to UNHCR 400,000 South Sudanese have arrived into Sudan since war erupted in the world’s youngest country. About half of them live across 10 camps in Sudan, while the rest are scattered in cities and towns.
