The national capital will get its second world-class exhibition-conference centre. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday will inaugurate the first phase of India International Convention and Expo Centre (IICC), named YashoBhoomi, in Dwarka and also the extension of Delhi Metro's Airport Express Line from Dwarka Sector 21 to a new metro station at Dwarka Sector 25. Sharing the pictures in a Facebook post, PM Modi wrote, "The soon-to-be-inaugurated 'Yashobhoomi' at Dwarka has state-of-the-art features and unparalleled facilities. It will stand out as one of the top convention and exhibition centres globally."   (ANI)

Officials announced that the extension of Delhi Metro's Airport Express Line from Dwarka Sector 21 to YashoBhoomi Dwarka Sector 25 will be operational starting from 3 pm on September 17.  (ANI)

The Convention Center spans over 73 thousand square meters and includes 15 convention rooms, such as the main Auditorium, the Grand Ballroom, and 13 meeting rooms. It has a collective capacity to accommodate 11,000 delegates. Notably, the Convention Center boasts the largest LED media facade in the country.  (ANI)
