Couple found dead in Pune’s Bibvewadi

A couple was found dead inside their house at Bibvewadi, under suspicious circumstances, on Sunday morning. According to the police, the woman was found hanging, while the body of the man was found lying on the floor at the couple’s home on Sunday morning at Rajeev Gandhinagar.

The deceased couple was identified as Ramdas Chalekar, 37, and Sarika Chalekar. The incident came to light when the bodies of the deceased couple were found by the newspaper hawker, who went to their house to deliver the newspaper early in the morning.

According to the information provided by Bibvewadi police, the death of the couple, who is survived by two sons, seems to be suspicious. As per prima facie information, the couple had a fight a night before and their bodies were found in the morning. Bibvewadi police have registered a case in this regard and have started investigating the case.
