Friendship cup: Excellency Academy beat Rovers 3-2 in Pune to enter in semi-final

The Excellency Academy defeated Rovers Academy 3-2 to enter semi-final of Friendship Cup which going on at Major Dhyan Chand hockey poligras stadium in Pimpri on Sunday.

Ganesh Giri Gosavi of Excellency Academy scored the first goal of the match in the 8th minute with lightning speed by the help of a quick and accurate pass from centre forward player helped him to hit the ball in the goal post.

In the 14th minute, a goal from Rahul Rasal of Rovers Academy helped his team to level the score 1-1.

Prince Chourasiya of Excellency Academy scored a goal in 24th minute, which helped his team to take the lead of 2-1.

Rovers Academy again equalised -- thanks to the goal of Aditya Rasal (44th minute)

In the final quarter, Chourasiya was once again came in action in the 50th minute to net a third goal for his team which turned out to be winning goal of the match.
