FYJC update: 11,047 students make it to special list in Pune

The special round of applications for first year junior college (FYJC) admissions was completed on Saturday.

11,047 students got admissions against 75,939 applications received by the education department that initiated a special round.

30,000 seats were vacant for students after the end of fourth round. 3,539 students got their choice of colleges in their special first preferences.

1,747 was the total number of choice of colleges allotted on August 18. Students allotted priority seats in Arts stream were 710, commerce (5,206), Higher Secondary Vocational Course (HSVC) is 239, while science (4,892), bringing the total to 11,047 in Pune.
