Man arrested for duping his Ambegaon-based employer of Rs 8.45 lakh
The arrested employee has been identified as Rajababu Savita, a native of Banda in Uttar Pradesh. The accused, along with the help of his accomplices Devsingh Chandel and Umesh Pal, both natives of Hameerpur in Uttar Pradesh, made away with goods worth Rs 8.45 lakh from the godown of Ambegaon-based Inmark Movie Vision company, owned by the complainant Anant Khadke, 37.
A 21-year-old man was arrested by Bharati Vidyapeeth police from his native place in Uttar Pradesh in connection with duping his Ambegaon-based employer of Rs 8.45 lakh.

According to Bharati Vidyapeeth police, the theft was committed by the trio on January 12, 2018, after which they were absconding. The accused persons did not go to their respective homes, but travelled through Delhi, Gujarat and other states to avoid arrest.
Eight days before the police received a tip-off from an informer regarding a visit of Savita to his native in Banda, Bharati Vidyapeeth police dispatched a team to Banda in Uttar Pradesh, who managed to nab him from his residence, said the police.
The police have seized four cameras, a processor, a mixer, a laptop and a recorder amounting to Rs 5.75 lakh from the accused. Further probe is on to arrest the remaining accused.
