My Nation My Vote: Politicians should focus on modern India, says this Pune voter

Have I voted in the past elections? (Did I miss a previous election?)
No I have not yet voted ever and I am very much excited to vote this time for the Lok Sabha elections. So since the election season has started, I often watch news channel for political news to know the views of various political party leaders.
What issues have mattered to me in the past? (example: Development agenda in 2014; strong leadership)
As I didn’t vote before, there was not any concern for me to think about issues related for voting. A year back I got enrolled myself as a voter and this time it would be my first time voting experience for Lok Sabha elections.
What issues matter to me today?
Definitely this time me and my group of friends we discuss about various issues like safety of college girls living in hostels and working women, job opportunities after we pass out of the college and even about further studies in abroad. I think for last many years, politicians are giving the same assurance to give road, water and electricity. We need to go beyond it and now start thinking about modern India’s issues specially of the youth.
