Three SUVs stolen from Pune

The four-wheelers were reported stolen from Shivajinagar, Kothrud and Kasba peth respectively

Three sports utility vehicles (SUV) have been stolen in the city in the past two days, according to the police.

The four-wheelers were reported stolen from Shivajinagar, Kothrud and Kasba peth respectively. Cases under relevant sections of Indian Penal Code were registered at Shivajinagar, Kothrud and Faraskhana police stations.

A closed circuit television (CCTV) footage of one of the theft spots that took place late on Tuesday night was recovered by the police. The 17-minute clip shows the thieves arrive in a white Toyota Fortuner and steal another white Fortuner.

At least two people are involved in the theft, according to the video. Two Fortuner SUVs were stolen in the second week of April from the city. In all the incidents, the vehicles were parked in public spaces.
