1 more held in Sirsa foetal sex test case

The accused has been identified as Sanjeev, alias Gora, a resident of Rama Mandi in Bathinda district. He was allegedly helping the other accused doctors to perform sex determination tests.

Sirsa deputy superintendent of police Kuldeep Singh Beniwal said on July 19, the police arrested Jagdish Godara of Ghukanwali village in Sirsa district and Sunit Mittal of Moga in Punjab for allegedly conducting sex determination tests in the area.

He said both doctors revealed their aide Sandeep's name after which he was arrested on July 24. On Sunday, the police arrested the fourth accused, Sanjeev. He said investigations could lead to more arrests.
