Two unidentified persons were booked for allegedly robbing Rs 3,500 and 5g gold and for opening fire in air on Friday.

Two unidentified persons were booked for allegedly robbing Rs 3,500 and 5g gold and for opening fire in air on Friday.
Investigating officer of Sirhind Avtar Singh said the incident took place on Thursday when Tilak Raj Sodhi, a resident of Hymauanpur, was out to see his new house that was under construction in a nearby locality.
He said Sodhi's neighbhour informed him that some unidentified people had entered into his house.
He added they immediately rushed to the spot and tried to catch them but the suspects opened fire in air and managed to flee from the spot.
