League matches were played in kabaddi and basketball events at the Punjab State School Sports game at local multi-purpose sports stadium on Tuesday.

The kabaddi event was organised at DAV College, Bathinda, under the guidance of convener Harminder Singh. Ferozepur defeated Fazilka with a score of 40 against 24, while Fatehgarh Sahib defeated Mansa 23/22. In the boy's kabaddi event, Kapurthala thrashed Amritsar by 43/22 votes, while Sangrur defeated Tarn Taran 42/24.
At the Saint Xavier's Convent School, Bathinda girls' team defeated Fazilka 28/25, while Sangrur defeated Faridkot by 28/25.
District education officer Harkawaljit Kaur, assistant education officer, Pavitar Kaur and the district sports committee have also been instrumental in organization of the programme.
