5-year-old child sodomised in Hoshiarpur

A 5-year-old child was allegedly sodomised by another juvenile in Dagan Kalan locality on Wednesday. The child was playing with his mates near his house at around 5 pm when the accused took him to an abandoned house and committed the offence.

Bulhowal station house officer Harneel Singh said that when the victim's mother was searching her son and reached a deserted building, she saw the accused performing the unnatural act with her son, he added.

"After a medical examination of the child, we have registered a case under Section 377 of IPC and arrested the accused," the SHO stated.
