Sanjay Singh said the leaders of other parties having clean image were joining AAP.

When asked if the AAP volunteers were wary over the induction of turncoats into the party fold, Sanjay Singh said, “There is nothing like that.”

Earlier, he addressed a gathering of the party volunteers in Anandpur Sahib Lok Sabha constituency in connection with the party conference to be held in Muktsar on the occasion of Maghi festival. He exhorted the workers to ensure maximum participation of the people in the conference, which would be addressed by Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal.

He termed Congress a party of “scams”and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) a party of “mafias who had ruined the state.”

While addressing the gathering, Sangrur MP Bhagwant Mann and AAP’s Punjab convener Sucha Singh Chottepur said the SAD as well as Congress were playing a friendly match in Punjab just to keep AAP away from power.

Party’s Punjab observer Durgesh Patha and legal cell convener Himmat Singh Shergill also addressed the gathering.
