Addressing a gathering at a sangat darshan in Nawanshahr assembly segment, Badal said that as Kejriwal hailed from Haryana, he was inclined to safeguarding the interests of his state and nothing good for Punjab could be expected of him. He said Kejriwal’s sole intention was to have political power in the state.
The chief minister said, “While the Congress in the past had signed various agreements to deprive the state of its waters, the AAP is now trying to ensure that these agreements were implemented at the earliest. Both parties are bent on ruining the state.”
Apprising the people of the affidavit submitted by the AAP government in Delhi on the SYL issue, the chief minister said the Delhi government had said that the Punjab government’s stand on the issue would disintegrate the country as it was “unconstitutional” and “anti-national”.
