"Gurdial has been booked under Section 354 of Indian Penal Code after a 35-year-old married women called up the helpline and alleged that he had molested her in a bus," claimed the police official at Jhunir. Bar secretary Bhupinder Singh Sran said, "Gurdial Singh is a seniormost advocate who had been falsely implicated in this case and had been a victim of politics."
He was granted bail after being produced in the court. The bar members also went on strike.
