Dr G S Batra, professor of management, has taken over as the new head of Management Studies Department at Punjabi University, Patiala. He has an experience of more than 30 years in teaching, research, training and consultancy .

Dr Batra holds the degree of MBA, M.Com, LL.B, and Ph.D in management. He completed his post Doctoral research in business administration from the University of ILLINOIS ,USA, NUS ,Singapore , and the University of Malaya, Malaysia. He is visiting professor at the University of South Pacific in Pacific countries.
