BSF guns down Pak intruder in Hussainiwala; 4 run back across border

The Border Security Force foiled an intrusion bid on Sunday night in which one Pakistani national was killed. As per the BSF, there were apparently five intruders and when challenged, four of them ran back.
The incident occurred at Kassoke border outpost under the Hussainiawala sector being manned by personnel of BSF’s 105 battalion.

“On Monday morning we held a flag meeting with our Pakistani counterparts and raised the matter. They had demanded the body, which will be handed over to them after the post-mortem,” said DIG BSF RK Thapa.
The body has been handed over to the sadar police.
