BSF seizes heroin worth Rs 5 crore from Ferozepur sector

Its street value is estimated to be around Rs 5 crore

The Border Security Force (BSF) seized 1 kg of heroin along the India-Pakistan border in Ferozepur sector on Thursday.

The contraband was seized during a special operation by the personnel at Barreke Border outpost.

The packet was buried in the fields between International Border and Border Security Fence. Its street value is estimated to be around Rs 5 crore, BSF deputy inspector general of police RS Kataria said.
