Chandigarh to have daily flights to Lucknow, Dehradun from July 17
As per the schedule released, Lucknow flight will take off from Chandigarh airport at 10.55 am and reach Lucknow at 2.05 pm after a halt of 40 minutes at the Delhi airport.Updated: Jun 30, 2017 09:40 IST
In further expansion of its domestic service, Jet Airways will start two new flights from Chandigarh International Airport in Mohali, first connecting the local region with Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow and then Uttarakhand’s capital Dehradun, from July 17.
These flights will be connected via Delhi and take approximately 3 hours in one sided journey to both these places.
Jet will however operate 67 seater small aircraft to handle traffic on these two new routes
Vineet Sharma, a Sector 17 based travel agent said that the move will strengthen the domestic service from the Chandigarh airport. The flight to Dehradun will cater to tourists to hilly state.
“While rates keep changing on daily basis, the one side fare will vary between 3500 and 4500, he said.
As per the schedule released, Lucknow flight will take off from Chandigarh airport at 10.55 am and reach Lucknow at 2.05 pm after a brief halt of 40 minute at Delhi airport.
On return journey, the flight takes off from Lucknow airport at 5.50 pm and reaches here at 9.10 pm via Delhi.
Similarly, the flight on Chandigarh and Dehradun route will operate at 3.15 pm from local airport and reaches its destination at 6.05 pm via 30-40 minute halt at Delhi. The return journey from Dehradun starts at 4.30 pm and reaches here at 7.10 pm.
