The authorities, denying that the chopper had an emergency landing as the police had claimed in a statement, said the chopper landed normally and safely at the air base.

Defence PRO Naresh Vig said that the chopper landed normally and after the pilot walked out of the chopper, they noted that the string was rolled in the back rotor of the chopper and informed the authorities. Vig said that they had asked the police to strictly ban the Chinese string. The PRO also strongly contradicted the statement of the police commissioner that the chopper had an emergency landing due to the string.
