In her complaint, Chander Lekha alleged that she had disowned her son from her property. On Saturday, the accused intruded the house and thrashed her and her daughters with an intention to grab the property.
The Salem Tabri police have registered a case under sections 448 (punishment for house-trespass) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation) against the accused, who is absconding.
