Farmers’ land will not be acquired without their consent: Birender
Union minister for rural development and Rajya Sabha MP Birender Singh on Tuesday assured that the agriculture land would not be acquired without the consent of farmers.
Union minister for rural development and Rajya Sabha MP Birender Singh on Tuesday assured that the agriculture land would not be acquired without the consent of farmers.

Birender, who was in Uchana Kalan on Tuesday to hold a meeting of his supporters for chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar’s rally on April 12, also accused former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda of acquiring fertile land on the name of development.
“The Bhupinder Singh Hooda-led Congress government had acquired 65,000 acres of land in Gurgaon district, of which 24 acres were sold to the private companies,” he said adding, “Now they are raising questions over the land acquisition policy of the BJP.”
He alleged that the previous governments of Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Om Prakash Chautala had discriminated against the people of Uchana Kalan as the region did not get any big-ticket project.
