Four killed as car rams parked truck

Four youths, including two brothers, were killed and two others sustained serious injuries when a car crashed into a stationary truck on Karnal-Indri road near here late on Tuesday night.

The deceased have been identified as Deepak, Sunil (brothers), Dikshant and Amit, while critically injured Deepak and Randeep were rushed to the PGIMER, Chandigarh.

According to the police, the victims were relatives and were on the way to Indri town to meet acquaintances.

Police said that a truck was wrongly parked along the road near Janesaro village, when the speeding car rammed it.

Police have impounded the truck, but couldn't arrest its driver.
