Four mobile phones recovered from prisoners
Four mobile phones were recovered from the jail on Wednesday. Following the complaint filed by jail officials, the police of division number 7 registered a case under Section 52A of the Jail Act, 1984, against seven prisoners identified as Garibu, Ranjit Singh, Akbar, Deepak, Pardeep, Krishan and Sudhir.

Four mobile phones were recovered from the jail on Wednesday.
Following the complaint filed by jail officials, the police of division number 7 registered a case under Section 52A of the Jail Act, 1984, against seven prisoners identified as Garibu, Ranjit Singh, Akbar, Deepak, Pardeep, Krishan and Sudhir.
According to officials they recovered the mobile phones from the possession of the accused during a surprise check on late Wednesday night, who had hid the mobile phones in a barrack. The accused have been lodged in jail in different cases.
Inspector Raj Kumar, SHO at police station division number 7 said the police would get the accused on production warrant to quiz them about the procurement of mobile phones.
