Health deptt collect 12 food samples
Health department on Thursday collected 12 samples of food items from different food joints at areas including Old Sabzi mandi and Gujral Nagar. The team of the health department, including district health officer Dr Ashwani Sondhi and Food safety officers Dr Harjotpal and Dr Sukhrao Singh collected the samples.

Health department on Thursday collected 12 samples of food items from different food joints at areas including Old Sabzi mandi and Gujral Nagar.
The team of the health department, including district health officer Dr Ashwani Sondhi and Food safety officers Dr Harjotpal and Dr Sukhrao Singh collected the samples.
Dr Sondhi informed, “A total of 12 food samples have been collected including paneer, desi ghee, cream, butter, banana, white gram, sugar, fruit juice, water and coffee”.
He added that they have issued instructions to the food joints and shopkeepers to take care of sanitation and maintain hygienic standards in their respective workshops.
