Health teams inspect LNJP Hospital

The Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Hospital here was giving a different look on Thursday when the Regular Appraisal of Programme Implementation in District (RAPID) assessment team reached here to visit hospitals and health centers to take stock of the facilities being provided. For a change, the hospital was giving a cleaner look, doctors were present and attending to the patients and patients in the wards were provided with medicines and other facilities.

30 teams from PGIMS Rohtak and Chandigarh visited the health facilities and conducted detailed review of all healthcare services.

The exercise has been planned for the entire state in a phased manner to ensure that all the health facilities and services provided by the health department are utilised by the people. The teams visited the health facilities and submitted a detailed report to Dr Shiv Kumar, civil surgeon, Kurukshetra.
